Denizens of Youthtopia:

Main Cast

"Neil" (real name unknown)
Youthtopia's main character and our hero. "Neil" is a normal, somewhat neurotic, 17 year old kid who makes a mistake: signing on with the Youthtopia project. Branded a weirdo (and earning his current moniker), "Neil" is sent to reside with the dysfunctional Group "Q", who complicate the already bad situation of being trapped in the village under Dayson. "Neil" is quite intelligent, but plagued by self doubt and prone to worries and panic. Despite his pessimism, though, he is determined to get out of his current situation with his sanity intact.

  Schweder Mittwoch

Schweder has taken a weird, post-modern kind of approach to the search for his individual identity; eschewing any shred of authenticity and becoming a walking facade. Specifically, he plays the role of a Euro-beatnik charicature. It's a part that he throws himself into whole-heartedly. While it may be easier for him to deal with life by adopting this persona, it does tend to annoy his peers; consequently, Schweder has ended up in Group "Q", along with "Neil".

Nadia
Nadia is actually a young employee of SonicNetworks®, the company that runs the Youthtopia project. She mostly works a gopher sort of job, running errands between the various participant groups. She has befriended "Neil", and in her position of employment, is useful for bringing what little information she can about Dayson's latest machinations. She's usually pretty calm and reserved, but does have a bit of a jumpy side to her. And she carries a blackjack. No, I don't know why either...

Nosfra
Nosfra is an sorcery-spawned vampire, born by the fusion between primordial spirits of predatory instinct and shaped dead flesh. She's also extremely perky and enjoys coffee a lot. Not actually affiliated with the Youthtopia project, Nosfra just happens to reside in the manor where Group "Q" makes its lodgings. She seems to quite enjoy their company, actually, and has more or less become a de facto member of the group. Not widely known outside Group "Q"(Despite Laura's attempt to broadcast it; I dunno, maybe that was edited for time), she's something of an ace in the hole for "Neil" and the others when the time for physical confrontation comes; she's pretty strong, you know...

Biff

Biff is Group "Q's" official cameraman, in addition to unofficial stagehand grunt. He's a good guy, who pretty much gets along with everyone. He's not stupid, but he isn't prone to excessive analysis or overthinking of a given situation, either. He has a few simple needs, and beyond that just tries to help everyone out as best he can.
Morvanez Jobin
Morvanez is Group "Q's" token mad scientist. Unfortunately, she's not involved in the brand of mad science that specializes in useful, high tech gadgetry, but rather a lot of the Gothic test-tubes-and-scalpels kind of stuff. As you might expect, this causes some consternation amongst her acquaintences. She's also quite emotionally unstable and prone to violence. She recognizes this about herself, though, and is actually quite scared of what she might be capable of. As such, she's built up quite a few layers of defense, from the outlet of her "research," to her simple reclusiveness and sullen nature. She tends to snap when these are pressed upon, unfotunately. Still, she's started to develop a real repoir with "Neil," and is beginning to mellow a bit.

Laura
Laura is Group "Q's" manager, and takes her job exceedingly seriously. Some would say too much so. Actually, pretty much anyone would say that. She's a control freak, and despite Dayson's takeover, still tries to keep the group in line, as if everything were normal. She's also pretty devious, and a touch vindictive. This tends to cause her to be disliked among the group. Still, she's beginning to understand that she's going to have to work with the various members in order to make it through this Dayson thing...
